An insight into the past, present and future
I was working on a PhD in Gender Studies, focusing on the retention of women in tech, while providing DEI consulting services to organisations. The findings in the initial literature review were deeply concerning. The statistics and personal stories I uncovered coincided with the client's worries and situations. I saw a clear picture of systemic issues that went beyond what I could address academically. I went down the rabbit hole and found myself awake at night aiming at solving the problem rather than merely studying it, which put me at odds with the traditional research approach.

Through extensive interviews and deep-diving into the experiences of women, I recognised a critical gap: organisations lacked a data-driven, holistic approach to addressing inclusion in a way that embraced business goals and legal compliance.
That realisation led me to put my PhD on hold and start building Diversalytics.
Diversalytics is unique because we bring together talent experience, gender equality regulations, and DEI strategy under one roof. We partner with legal experts to ensure that our platform not only aligns, but it's designed to help companies easily embrace EU regulations, including gender equality directives, salary transparency laws, anti-discrimination policies, GDPR compliance, and AI ethics.
Our goal is not just to provide insights, but to empower DEI professionals to take meaningful, data-driven actions that improve workplace culture and business outcomes. By leveraging ethical AI, advanced analytics, and a curated library of questions, we save professionals tons of time so they can focus on what truly matters: levelling the playing field and fostering inclusive workplaces.

Spaces where we belong
When I first heard about this opportunity to partner with FAIR, it was an immediate ‘Hell Yes’ for me. Seeing all the hard work and passion behind it, I knew this was a space where Diversalytics belonged. The conversations you’re fostering between DEI professionals, industry leaders, and advocates are exactly what’s needed to push this work forward.
We truly love, respect and appreciate all the effort you have put into creating these meaningful connections and knowledge sharing; this community is invaluable. We are committed to adding value by sharing our data-driven approach to ensure organizations don’t just talk about inclusion, but actively—and easily—implement changes where it's most needed, comply with regulations, and measure the impact. Our shared goal is to create tangible, lasting impact, and together, we can amplify that mission.
The community impact we witness
Building Diversalytics has been an incredible journey, and one of the most rewarding aspects has been the generosity of the community. So many people have been kind with their time, sharing their insights, pain points, and dreams for more inclusive workplaces. These conversations have shaped our platform and reinforced the idea that DEI is a collective effort.
One moment that stands out is when an HR leader from a large multinational company told us that our analytics helped them uncover a critical retention issue among women in leadership. They had assumed the problem was about career development opportunities, but the data revealed that lack of psychological safety and bias in performance evaluations were the real culprits. With our insights, they were able to implement targeted interventions, improving both retention and leadership pathways. Stories like these remind me why we do this work.
Workplaces can be places where everyone can thrive
I consider myself a practical idealist. I’ve always been passionate about connecting the dots—between people, ideas, and systemic change. My journey in People & Culture has reinforced my belief that work has a profound impact on our well-being. We spend the majority of our lives at work, and yet, for many women and underrepresented groups, those environments are not always fair, safe, or fulfilling.
If DEI has DIED in the USA, I accept it.
What drives me is the idea that workplaces can - and should - be places where everyone can thrive. I want to build tools and communities that support that vision. The DEI space is evolving, and this is positive: I see so much potential for real, measurable change when we can discuss what works and what doesn't openly. If DEI has DIED in the USA, I accept it. That doesn’t mean there is no work to be done and organisations won't commit to understanding their people’s experiences and acting on that knowledge, whatever name it has.
Do you believe in meritocracies? We do too!
We see ourselves becoming a key player in helping organizations navigate the evolving landscape of workplace inclusion.
Do you believe in meritocracies? We do too! But when they are data-driven meritocracies, not subjective meritocracies. Do you believe your organisation is colour and gender-blind, and treats everyone the same? Let's partner up, measure it, and show the world how it is done! Our biggest opportunity for impact lies in expanding our ethical AI-driven analytics to offer even more nuanced insights into workplace culture, pay equity, and talent development, while we learn from each other.
Through this partnership, we can empower more organisations to move beyond inclusion as a checkbox "nice-to-say" message, and toward real, measurable transformation. Together, we can help businesses not just comply with regulations but actively create workplaces where people want to stay, grow, and succeed.
We are thrilled to welcome Stela Suils Cuesta and Diversalytics to our conference partner group!
